Missing in action

Sorry to be MIA for a few days. No access to computer. I wish I could have gone on the bike ride sounds like fun. I will catch the one on the 20th. I have been shopping because all my pants are too big. Jackson Hole has some pretty good consignment stores and of course Eddie Baur. Such fun to buy a smaller size. I met my goals every day except yesterday so I am 5 out of 6. I ate pizza yesterday (too much) and it made me sick (literally, but only for a few hours). Guess that will be good motivation to not eat it again. Sounds like you are doing awesome. Keep in touch. Kim I forgot to tell you I loved your hair Sunday.

First-Ever Blog

I am not accustomed to blogging, so this is a new adventure for me. Excited to be part of this great group of ladies striving to get and stay healthy. I also love that all you want to hike and bike, two things I love. Although, you are all capable to biking and hiking greaters distances than I am accustomed to. It is going to be tough keeping up with all of you - good challenge.
On my first post, it is good to report that I successfully journaled (my eating) and had a good day. My goal for the month is to record everything I eat and become an accountable (rather that mindless) eater.
Kim, have a great trip to California (and beyond).

First again!

I'm posting early today because I'm not sure if I'll be at a computer again today. I've been using Elise's since Thursday in case you're curious.

I've met my goals so far today, and I feel safe in saying I'll do okay today. 5 for 5!

Lisa, Ilene, and I had a fun bike ride this morning, and I'm looking forward to more in the future. Thanks Ilene for leading us on that beautiful route.

I'm leaving on my big trip tomorrow, so I'm not sure if I'll have a chance to blog every day. However, I am going to keep track of what I eat, and I will report for each day whenever I get a can. This morning I weighed right in the middle of my current decade, so I'm hoping to at least be down into the next decade, but even better, at least 10 lbs. down.

I'll miss all of you, and I hope you all blog lots so I can hear how you're doing!

I did meet my goals today. It's great not to feel stuffed, etc. It wasn't hard! I hope you all had a great day!

Happy 4th of July weekend

I got caught in the mysterious loop of computers and could not get my post to go yesterday. Weird. So good to hear from so many of you. July is going to be a good month. I like the "proud of myself idea", Kim you always have great ideas. I am proud because I lost 1 pound. It is getting very slow these days but still going the right direction. I am also proud of myself for having great friends like you guys. Looking forward to all the fun.

It's July!

It was so great to see so many on the blog yesterday!!!

Ilene--Good job! I know you'll stay away from that poison (sugar).
Cherie--Wow, you're doing great! You're so skinny.
Lisa--7 lbs. in a month is great. That's about what I lost this month and I stuck with WW 28 out of 30 days.
Heather--Keep up the good work. And yes, we know about Charlotte's Web, but Cherie assures us we'll be welcome there.
Elise--Welcome back! I'm sure you'll be successful this month.

I'm posting early because I don't know if I'll have access to a computer later today. I've met my goals so far, and I have my meals planned for the rest of the day, so I should do okay. What do you think about adding a new feature to the blog: "Why I am proud of myself." Here's what I could say today--I am proud of myself because I had to go to Great Harvest and I didn't take any samples.
