This post is for Thursday

No one blogged yesterday! Okay-I know we all start out strong and then for some reason, a lot of us get off track in the middle of the month. I'm including myself in this. Let's make a turn around and end the month as strong as we started it. Ilene, I'd love to see your baby bonnets! Are you sewing, crocheting, . . .? Cherie, it can be hard to not eat chocolate, etc. when you're with family. You've been doing so well--I"m sure you'll get right back on track when you return to Idaho and if you happened to gain any this week, it will come right off.

I rejoined Weight Watchers this morning (the meeting one) even though I said I was never going to do it again and it's way too much money! I decided that I could reach my goal within 6 months and I'd gladly paythe amount it will take to be at my goal for the first time in 25 years. So, I HAVE to stick to the program so I can accomplish my goal. I do not want to be paying WW any more money a year from now! One reason I didn't want to go to the meeting was because I feel like I know the program inside and out. But I have to admit, it was good to be there, to hear the other women's experiences, and just to be reminded of the things I need to do. Hey, that kind of sounds like church. I'll start reporting my weight change each Friday to you just for the accountability. I'm 36 lbs. above the WW recommendation, and I am going to lose an additional 12 lb for a total of 48 lbs. from today. That sounds like a lot, but 6 years ago, I was 75 lbs above the WW maximum. So, it's been slow going, but at least I"m headed in the right direction!
