Glad to be here
Hello my friends!! I am in southern Utah visiting Shawn's family. I thought it would be one of those things you do as a wife, but turns out it's been really fun! We went 4 wheeling today and I rolled my 4 wheeler! It was one of the most scariest things!! Aubrey was with me and so I had to hold up the 4wheeler with my leg to free her. I was pinned underneath until Shawn could get to me. Aubrey and I were extremely mud covered and very shaken! Turns out I have torn leg muscles and I'm nice and bruised. So happy to report Aubrey was fine ( but her new white sweatshirt is not ) and I am relatively fine. We were muddy, scared, and crying! Nothing like a little flip and roll to make you happy to be alive. So I've been doing well with my goals and hope I can get back to running soon. By the looks and feel of my leg I'm not sure when, but I'm willing myself well very soon! Awe the power of the mind and prayer!

So glad you are OK Heather, scary event for you. Glad also that your trip turned out to be fun. Hope the weather is great there, feels like March here, I would love it except we need, need, need snow at Kelly Canyon. Looking forward to starting fresh for the new year 40 day challenge (in other words I am still a mess). Hope the rest of you are meeting your goals. Looking forward to reading your posts and meeting on the 3rd.
ReplyDeleteI have turned into a wreck also. It is a slippery downhill slide. Better to stay away from "evil" like Kim, Heather, and Lisa.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting my challenge on Sunday. It's a new year! and a new day! and a new me! (weird, I know)
Heather, your roll sounds scarey. I'm so glad you are ok. Speedy recovery to you.
I might finish quilting a quilt today. The third round of company left last night. I have one more party tonight. It's been fun, but I'm ready for a routine.
Happy 3rd to the last day of the year to you all!
SCARY!!! I'm so glad you and Aubrey are okay.
ReplyDeleteCherie and Ilene--I know you'll start 2012 with a bang (in a good way!).
I haven't been around the computer in the past few days to report, but I've been meeting my goals.
