Merriest of Christmas's to us all!

Merry Christmas my friends!! I will just say I met my goals today because I know I will. This morning I made some very yummy carbs and I was a little resentful of my family as I watched them endulge while I had my eggs, but other then that today has been easy and I've been blessed! I am so grateful for everyone of you beautiful women and truly cherish our friendship! Merry Christmas again!!

  1. Quiet house for about 2 hours. The first batch of guests went home and the next batch arrives in a few hours. All my kids and grandkids will be here for the next 4 or 5 days. Crazy but fun. Hope you finished the knitting Kim, that was quite a project you undertook. Enjoy the grandkids Ilene and let me know when you want to stay the 40, 42, 45 or whatever challenge. I am thinking maybe Friday the 30 and go for 42 days. What do you think and Lisa do you want to join? Merry Christmas. Loved the choir today and the primary, you are all so talented. Sacrament meeting was awesome.

  2. I hope you've all had a Merry Christmas!! It sounds like you're all having a fun time with your wonderful families. We've had a great day too. I'm happy to report that I met my goals even though Heather told me she wouldn't charge me if I took Christmas off. I didn't quite finish the knitting project. Each throw is made of 20 squares and I finished 19! But, I gave them the unfinished projects with the promise to finish this week (which can reasonably be done). We actually had about a 2 hour block today where all my children, their spouses, and grandchildren were at my house. It was great! We haven't had that for about 2 years with mission, visits to in-laws, etc.

    Have a great week!

  4. Yes Cherie, I would like to to do the challenge. Maybe we can go from the 1st till Heather & Kim are finished as I want to join them in the next 100 day challenge :0)

We had a great Christmas day and I'm looking forward to the next few days with the kids and Steve home. We're heading to Utah on Wed. Lots of activities planned.

It feels good today to be back on track with eating and exercise. I'm excited to go strong in 2012!! I think we should set a date to all be at our goal weight and have a huge party on that day if we all make it!

  5. It was a great day. Fun to hear of all of your activities. Yes, I will start on the 30th if you want to Cherie and Lisa. I'd love to join you.
Another beautitul walk on Christmas day. I get a new batch of people Tuesday at noon. Food, food, food. So much preparation time wasted on food.
It's worth it - having the family here.
