  1. I was going to title my post "True Confessions" but luckily Heather beat me to the computer!

So here's the story--Since we started this 2nd round of the 100 day challenge, I have had more than one day that really wasn't 100%. It isn't that I pigged out, I just had some unplanned sweets or "a little" extra helping . . .that kind of thing. I've been feeling a little guilty and wondering if I was being honest with all of you and myself. Well, yesterday I made a dessert for no reason other than to eat it (yikes!) even though I told Heather I wasn't going to eat any sugar until the end of the challenge. This morning in the shower (my best thinking time!) I decided to fess up and pay the money. Once I made that decision I felt so much better! So, on May 21st I will pay the successful challengers. However, when Heather and I ran this afternoon, we came up with another idea that I'd like to do if all approve. Since there are 85 days left, we were thinking that I could pay $50 and then still be in the challenge. However, if I mess up again, I'll have to pay the additional $50. I'm hoping this is ok with everyone because I would like to stay in the challenge, but I do feel like I need to pay something because what good is it to say you're going to pay if you don't stick to your goals and then not do it?

For right now, I'm doing something similar to Weight Watchers. There's a site called myfitnesspal.com where you can enter your food intake and exercise. It's just like the WW tools only it counts calories instead of points. It also calculates what number you should stay under to lose weight. So, my commitment is to daily enter everything I eat and make sure I stay within their set guidelines. I did it today, so I can say GM! Also, I will allow myself 2 desserts a month in March, April, and May.

I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

  2. I am all for staying in the challenge...I think it will keep us all on track.

All is well here...very busy. Lots of volleyball though and my eatings been decent, but I have a healthier plan for March!

    Looking forward to the meeting!
