Ready for a hike?

Kim, Heather and I are planning to hike the Palisaides Lake trail on Wednesday. Not sure how far we will go. I think upper is 7 miles (one way) and lower is 4. I could be wrong about that but we will see how it goes. Wednesday June 15th. Meet at my house at 8:00. Bring lots of water and a lunch and we will see how the day goes. We hope to be back by late afternoon and would love to have any of the HLC or anyone else join us.
On another note. I lost 2 pounds at the W W weigh in yesterday. That was over 3 weeks but I'll take what I can get. Can't believe oatmeal is 7 points. Not good. Congratulations Kim on your weight loss and for keeping up with your goals. Good luck Heather with Atkins. I have succeeded on it twice, too bad I did not keep it off but you will. I do love you.

  1. Cherie-I think 2 lbs in 3 weeks is good especially when you consider a lot of that time was spent eating goodies with the family. I was surprised about the oatmeal too, but that does include the sugar plus it was cooked in milk which would add more points.

    Heather--I know you'll succeed with Atkins. I'm sure those Melaleuca vitamins will help out too!

    I met my goals today--lots of exercise too. Heather and I ran between 5.5 and 6 miles tonight. It was great (especially when it was over). We'd love to have any one else join us. You don't know what you're missing!

  2. Well it's kinda hard for me to say I met my goals when I ate horribly today (even though that was my plan) and I exercised a lot today. I start Atkins tomorrow and look forward to it. Have a splendidly wonderful Sunday.
