I loved the quote in the Relief Society bulletin. . .
"Courage is required to make an initial thrust toward one's coveted goal, but even greater courage is called for when one stumbles and must make a second effort to achieve.
. . . sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says,'I'll try again tomorrow'."
-President Monson
Loved it. Met my goals today.

Good quote. We all have the courage to reach our goals. Goals me today.
ReplyDeleteI liked that quote too. Wow, look how good we're doing. I think we're all 9 for 9 this month!
ReplyDeleteHow does everyone feel about the weekend of June 1-2 for our Utah trip. It's the weekend after Memorial Day weekend. Do you think that would be a problem?
I met my goals today too.
If you still want to be in the SL race you should because it's really fun and interesting to be part of such a large, professionally run production. I walked most of the half marathon last year (I had just gotten my cast off) and I still didn't come in last, so I know none of you would either. I also ran the 5K one year and it was pretty fun (as fun as running can be). So, I hope my change of plans doesn't change any of your plans to run.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of running, I believe there's a race--5K, 10K, and half-marathon--coming up on May 19 right in our neighborhood. It would be fun to do as the HLC! You have plenty of time to get ready for the 5K if you're interested.
I met my goals. I LOVE that quote Ilene! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat week in June may very possibly be right when Jason comes home and if so, I'm not going ANYWHERE! I have met my goals.
