Love it

I love all the positive vibes from you wonderful women. Way to go all of you. Such strength to keep fulfilling your goals. Annette way to go with the skiing. Heather you will be amazingly strong with a trainer working with you. Your ice cream story is great, such self control. Kim, I love the comment about backtracking, we are all moving forward. Lisa such a good reminder to to enjoy the good moments in life, thanks. Let us know when the mission call comes. All of you I would love to go play in the snow. Let's plan it for the end of Jan or first part of Feb. Kim, do you have a Friday off soon? Maybe we could go up to the Kelly Canyon cross country trails just for an afternoon. I already met my exercise goals today, despite being stiff and sore from yesterday and I will meet nutrition goals also. Keep all these positive vibes going.

  1. It's super fun this little HLC group. I honestly just love reading everyone comments and getting inspired. I picked up my bountiful basket today at this school and posted on the wall there was the best quote...I wish I would have written it down but It went something like...never stop doing something halfway becuase the person at the top of the hill had to make the climb. I know it was better put but I loved it. This journey to become healthy and change the way we were living and eating is hard and often times we only do it half way...but if we want to enjoy the view from the top we have to make the climb and keep pushing everyday and not give it a half effort or else we will only enjoy half the view! I met my goals today and it's my free day for nutrition and I ran my miles today already. I am excited that I have actually continued to eat very well today even though I don't have to...I want to. I want to sit at the top of the mountain and feel the view! (a little cheesy perhaps) Have a Wonderful day friends!!!!

  2. Great quote Heather!

I have the 21st off, but we're already going skiing! I can leave school by 1 or so on Fridays though, so really, we could go anytime What about this Friday or maybe the first Fri in Feb?

I met my goals today. I'm always surprised at how "not hard" it is. I've spent many years with Weight Watchers, and even though I did have some success, I always felt like I needed so much self-discipline to stay within my allotted points. Now--with Body for Life--there are some days that I have to mentally go through the things I ate at the end of the day to see if I cheated because I don't feel like I'm suffering enough! And I'm really not cheating!

I'm starting the 12 week BFL challenge over on Monday because I didn't exercise as hard as I would have liked to this past week due to a cough, etc. I figure I'm going to need all 12 weeks of muscle building to have a shot at the $25000! There's a range of time in which you can start, and I'm still within it.

Lisa: I'm glad things are going well for you! I've had those times too when everything is just right, and it's great!

Annette, Cherie, Heather: You're all doing so great! You're very inspirational.

Ilene: I don't know if you're reading this, but I've been thinking about you every day, and I hope you're treatment is going well.

Elise: It's great to hear from you when we do! Luckily for me, I talk to you frequently anyway :).

I'm proud of us, ladies, for starting out January so well. Let's keep it up . . . all the way to the top of that mountain.
