Hello from the jungle

We have been out in the jungles of Guatemala for a few days at a mayan ruin called Tikal. It was hard to find any protein to eat so my diet is all out of whack but I walked and hiked until I thought I would fall apart. Lots of monkeys, birds etc. Good on the exercise front not so much on the diet part. So good to have you with us Kathy and congrats on your success. Way to go the rest of you either staying on track or getting back to it. Thanks for your inspiration.

    I just got back from the race they're having over here. Julie, Tami Higdon, Leann Jensen, and Devrie Jensen ran the half-marathon1 Julie did it in 2:06. GO Julie!!

  2. I had a good start for four days but haven't met my exercise goals for the last three days. I've surprised myself on the nutrition goals though, so I'm not totally unhappy with myself. I hear Guatemala is beautiful (my granddaughter, Leia is half Guatemalian.) The history there is fantastic with the Mayan ruins etc.! Kim, you've run a lot today as you just finished 4 miles with Heather. You two are awesome!
