Sunday in the sun
Hope it is sunny there. Doing well here. Dave's brother and his wife came to join us and they brought lots of junk food. Been a hard for me today. Exercise good, food bad. Day one of a new month and I am 50%. I would like to hear what people's goals are for the month. I would like to lose some more (5 to 10 pounds). I will do this by eating less than 40 carbs per day and exercising at least one hour five days a week. I will chart my eating and exercise each day (even on vacation) and weigh when I get home and then once a week. What are the rest of you planning? One of us needs to give Heather some competition. Looking forward to hearing your plans.

Hi Cherie! I'm glad we've gotten to hear from you so often! Those sound like great goals, and I commend you for charting your eating/exercise while on vacation. That can be so hard! But, the results will be worth it.
ReplyDeleteI definitely plan to at least tie with Heather this month. I have a good eating/exercise plan which is very effective when I stick to it. I'll just let you know when I meet my goals and when I---I was about to say "when I don't"--but there can't be any "don't" days if I'm going to tie with Heather! So, I'll just report each day that I met my goals!
Wouldn't it be great if we all met our goals this entire month?? We can do it!

ReplyDeleteThis month I am changing up my goals a bit. My hair is falling out quite a bit and I am told this can happen on Atkins. I have to look into it more when I have the time. However what I am going to do this month is not eat any sugar or white flour, or wheat flour for that matter. I am going to eat all vegtables, fruits, and lean meats/protein, I am not limiting myself to only certain veggies or fruits. The only grain type thing I plan to eat is steel cut oatmeal 3 to 4 times a week for breakfast. I really hope to keep up the progress on the weight loss with this change. I am a little worried (not as much as yesterday Kim) about it, but not too much since I still plan to eat very healthy and atkinsish. Time will tell. For my excerise goals I will continue the running program and weight training (oh and run a half marathon with Kim!!!) SO bring it friends~
Hi everybody, I'm a newby! My goals for the month are: walk 1 1/2 to 2 miles 6 days per week, plus some home exercise 3 days per week; limit diet coke to no more than two cans a day, not eat past 8:00 P.M., and eat more fruit and veggies.
