Day 2

This is day two of HLC phase 2. How is it going for everyone? I did great on my exercise today with my favorite step class. I love it. Eating was OK too but I am wandering the house looking for food tonight. I need to go for a walk or go finish the book club book instead.

My goals for this phase are to lose 10 more pounds (including the 2 I have gained back) and then keep all of them off. A pound a week would be OK with me.

I plan to:
Keep my net carbs below 40 until I reach goal weight and then figure out the # to maintain
Track what I eat each day including carb count in HLC journal
Track exercise in HLC journal - work out for at least one hour at least 5 days a week
Include weight training for 3 of those days
Weigh once a week and measure once a month

I am walking away from the kitchen NOW!

  1. Great goals, Cherie! I'm sure you'll do it. Renae, I know things can sometimes be difficult when you have so much going on (like moving!) but I hear you were hard at work at the Melaleuca gym this morning! Keep it up!

  2. Those are great goals Cherie! I met my goals today too. I just got back from the gym and it was awesome. I am seriously amazed at how much better I feel and am able to work out and just do everything when I eat Atkins way. I just feel super. I am also really excited for the bone and back. I am interested in driving out there and driving the course, so I know what I am facing. Does anyone else want to tag along or do you not care?? Let me know and we can drive out and chat and have a good time. Good luck to you all for Wednesday.
    Renae~ if you need help moving or with someone to watch your kids or whatever let me know. I would be more then happy to help you in whatever way I can. lifting heavy furniture is sure to burn some good calories! :)
