I met my goals today! I tried to go jogging--and yikes!--my left leg was way too sore. So I walked some and tried to jog as much as possible. I wasn't sure whether to push myself despite the pain or to not push myself to avoid injury. Here's my new exercise plan: I copied a 5K training schedule from Runner's World and I'm going to follow it for the next 9 weeks until the Mesa Falls race. It will be interesting to see if my time gets any better from the race this Saturday until the MF one. Yes, I'm still working out with Chalene. Her workouts are only about 35 minutes 4-5 days a week, so I can do the running too. Both workouts have tomorrow as a rest day, so hopefully my leg will recover and I can be back at it on Wed. Did you realize our 1st 30 days will be up already next week? We should plan to meet one afternoon/early evening to evaluate our progress so far. One thing we definitely need to work on is regular posting haha.
